@rickhawk22 :The first song of the best side of an album ever created! Concerto for a rainy day was the soundtrack to my youth. I played it in the dark at night when settling down to sleep to just focus on the sounds. This is the culmination, in my mind of what Jeff envisioned when he started ELO with Roy. This is the perfect fusion of Rock, Pop and orchestral music in a perfect symphony of beautiful songs that flows along like a storm coming through the plains. When I heard that Standing in the Rain would be performed live in concert recently, I was so excited to see and hear it and it didn’t disappoint. Truly an all timer favorite of mine from a classic album. See link to SITR recorded from my seat in Chicago!
