AYYYYEEEEE, you remembered me mentioning that Bev sang lead once!!!!! Funny, I never thought of this as a country song. Cash-like voice? OK, but whenever I hear this, I can only think of ”super stud” Bev! It always makes me smile so big! Novelty song, sure. No, EW, I don’t see it as a failed attempt at being funny. It’s hilarious. This makes me miss my mom van with the CD player soooooo much. I would blast this one and a few others from Message From the Country often. I don’t care if it doesn’t really fit on the album. It’s a gem on a gem of an album. And then he ends it with that little ”Heh.” Swoon. It would have been interesting to hear them use Bev’s voice more. And thanks for keeping up the Snippets for Me, even when I got distracted and quit listening. I’m trying to get my life back, and my music is such a big part of that.
